Amber Pitkin

Amber was a delight to work with, diligent, attentive and focused at all times, and created some wonderful make up for our short film. She was a vital part of the process in enabling us to tell our story creativity and emotionally, and I would happily work with her again in the future.

- George Pursall Broken Morning

 Alice Jones

Alice Jones was recommended to us by the Christine Blundell Make-Up Academy, as we were searching for a make-up artist who was gifted in providing a very natural horror look for our film. We needed a look that walked the fine line between being natural but also very scary, rather than an over-the top unprofessional look. After communicating with the academy, we were able to view some of Alice's work on her personal website followed by a meeting to discuss the look we required for our film production. On set, we found Alice to be very hard working and able to grasp what it was we needed to capture. Some of our cast were children and Alice was able to put them at ease whilst applying their make-up… Alice Jones is an easy going professional who is more than capable to work on her own independently and with a full crew of new people she had never met before. We would gladly recommend her to any other production company…. Ewa and I would like to personally thank the Christine Blundell Make-Up Academy for providing us with a truly talented artist…

“Amber was lovely, charming and generally great. It's hopefully going to be a fantastic music video.” - Mark Hopkins 2nd Assistant Director ‘Closed'

Polly Mossman and Scarlett McPherson

Party Animal for Rachelle Arthey
“Attached are a few shots from the film 'Party Animal', which Polly & Scarlett worked for us on. As you can see they both did a great job. They were a joy to have on set, even when working on the top level of a multi storey car park in sub zero temperatures. We hope to have the opportunity to work with them both again.”

Alice Jones

“Thank you so much for putting us in touch with Alice. She was a pleasure to work with and created the exact look we had in mind for our actors! Alice was very professional at all times and her creative input has been invaluable to achieving the production values we were aiming for. We would definitely ask her to work with us on any future productions.”

Rebecca Smith

“Bec was lovely...the director said she was great...thanks for finding her for me...”

Kirsty Lamb and Jade Westcott

“Kirsty and Jade were both fantastic, they worked under a lot of pressure and took on a lot of tasks that helped me out immensely. Their work and dedication is greatly appreciated and I could not have done it without them...”

Roseanna Larner

“We were very grateful to have Roseanna Larner join our team...her work, from cuts and bruises on our extras to bridal make-up on our main actress was consistently excellent...”

Alessandra Morgante

“Your graduate Alessandra Morgante was really good. As we had difficult locations where space to all departments was limited she managed to organise herself well and was brilliant team member...”

Tanya Webb

“Tanya Webb, who we had on our short film recently, was amazing.  I have already recommended her to friends, who have also hired her for their film projects. Thanks again for putting me in touch with her.  She is great and I would definitely use her again in the future.”
