CBMA Basic Wigs Course Outline

Day One:

• Preparing a hair wrap and a cling wrap.
• Looking at the head, its shape and understanding how to measure it for the purpose of fitting wigs and other hair pieces.
• Pin curling a whole head and placing a wig.

Day Two:

• Padding out a wig block
• Blocking a wig
• Washing a wig

Day Three:

• Setting a wig for an Edwardian style

Day Four:

• Completing dressing out, pin curling, making up and putting on a wig

Day Five:

• Knotting
