Day One: Kit, Hair Types

• Kit, equipment and products
• Hair types and textures
• Areas of the head and hair growth patterns
• Face shapes
• Hairdressing as a career
• Single length hair cut
• Use of tongs, hot sticks, hairnets, Victorian buns and ringlets

Day Two:

• Use of head sheets
• Square layered haircut
• Blow-drying
• Creating a 90’s style

Day Three:

• Cutting a long bob with a fringe
• Using heated rollers
• Creating a 60’s style

Day Four:

• Men’s grooming – with and without [electrical]
• Men’s haircut
• Men’s grooming, with and without electrical
• Mans haircut

Day Five:

• Various demonstrations and a free day for practise
