Day One & Two: Hair Extension Basics

• Understanding hair extensions
• Sectioning hair
• Application of bonds
• Colour matching the hair

Day Three & Four: Catwalk Make-up

• General discussion of the fashion industry – how to get into fashion make-up, who to contact, how to build a portfolio, the importance of test shoots, etc
• A discussion of current trends from this year’s catwalk shows – in particular focussing on the use of colour, metallics, shimmers, bold statements vs. nude looks, etc
• Mood boards and research will be key
  Practise building-up catwalk looks

Day Five & Six: Airbrushing

• Basic principles of airbrushing
• Operating, control and maintenance of an airbrush
• Application of air-applied cosmetics, including use of air-applied foundation
• Corrective procedures
