Cuts, blood and body parts!

I am always amazed as to how much one can go into detail regarding this module.

A bruise is not just a bluish mauve spot or rupturing of blood vessels under the skin, but instead a beautiful multicoloured mustard rimmed odd shaped mark. That is as long as it is not on me!

As is often the case a real bruise can sometimes have the impression of not looking real. There have been times when I have had to temper the bruise because the director thought the bruise " unconvincing".

What we attempt to do on this module is teach with the newest products available. This is an area that is constantly changing what materials are being used. We also think it important to know the old ways and also having to create on a shoestring!

In the second week will be working with Probondo, creating scars and cuts.

We have the pleasure of introducing a new tutor to CB*MA, Jessica Brooks. If you can think of any block buster these last few years, you can be sure Jess has been woking on it.

All will be revealed in the second week!
