Our five month students spent last week getting to grips with wigs as it were, and this time around everyone is new to hair work so they were all a little nervous before hand. However they soon got into it and begun by learning to measure a person’s head with Clingfilm to ensure a perfect fit, as well as the correct technique for applying the wigs themselves. They spent the week learning how to style the wigs correctly for different time periods, and will be building on what they’ve learnt when it comes to their second weeks of wigs later on in the course, as well as when they begin to learn their basic hair techniques this week.
