Do you know where the term ‘sideburns’ comes from? Well, if you don’t, let me tell you. Sideburns are actually named after the American Civil War General Ambrose Burnside.
Why do i ask? Well, it’s because this week, our students spent alot of time getting hairy, and it’s all because it’s facial hair time here at CB*MA. The infamous week in which, surprisingly, alot of women suddenly realise that, actually, they might quite enjoy rocking a full beard...
It’s been a week full of stubble and sideburns, as the student get to grip with not just understanding how to make your fake beard look as natural as possible, but making sure that they understand how a real beard would grow. They’ve been learning about how to work with the stubble that a person may already have, as well as understanding the different types of beards that can be applied. In addition to this, they have learnt about different eras and styles of facial hair.
